MaE is the second location opened by Ella and Matthew Mills. It’s a bigger space than the original MaE Deli at 21 Seymour Place but based around the same concept: a cosy place to visit with friends and enjoy our plant based goodness. We’re open 7 days a week.

We were blown away by how friendly the service was (particularly Harriet, and the guy collecting dishes) and how tasty the food was. We can’t wait to come back to Weighhouse Street!

Such yummy food, I struggle to make a decision! After visiting a few times, I have to say that the Apricot and Cauliflower Dhal is by far my favorite and love treat myself with the fudge brownie. Thank you for making being a vegan so much easier and more enjoyable 🙂

Hi Ella and Matthew, I visited your beautiful deli for my birthday (December 16)! My friend and I were blown away by how young and friendly the service was (even the manager). We felt like home! It was really cosy! The MaeBowl was so yummy and also the juices. My dear friend was blown away by how yummy the Fruit juice tasted. I’ve to admit it was the yummiest juice I’ve ever drunk! Also thank you for being so kind and giving me a muffin as a gift and thanks for buying a birthday candle. Thanks a lot. Can’t wait to come back next year or so! You could very proud! With love…

Considering I’m a student, I shouldn’t be going out for multiple meals. BUT, the Mae Deli is just too difficult to resist! Healthy, hearty and nourishing! It’s a good thing it’s worth every penny. The brownies are a huge guilty pleasure of mine and I now can’t go a week without one! Thank you for being a friendly and happy place I can enjoy good food and get away from busy, bustling London life.

I was recently diagnosed dairy free and it can be hard to find places that cater and this place is just perfect for lunch time. i even now have a copy of your recipe book and cannot wait to try out some new ideas. Love Love Love this place.

Sitting in the snug little hideaway downstairs catching up with emails on my iPad on the butcher’s block fold-down table while drinking a ROOTS juice and snacking on a Energy Ball (ginger is my fave) has to be the best way to end a busy day of meetings.

Visited the Weighouse St deli today & bought two fudge brownies! They were soooo delicious they didn’t make it home with me as I ate them!!! Is there a recipe for them as I can’t find it? X

Hi Ella, I visited your Neal’s yard deli yesterday and tried some cake; the mince pies were fantastic and there was a Mae cake, fully g-f, with soft icing and blueberries on top. I’ve been g-f for 15 years, having cured myself of endometriosis, and this was one of the nicest cakes I’ve tasted. Is the recipe available anywhere online? Thanks
Deborah
